With an interior in which every existing detail was covered in white, the Vedbaek house offers a total serenity environment.
The remodelling project was made by Danish studio Norm. The house, located in a small village of Vedbaek in Denmark, had a complete change in the original plan.
Every wall was demolished on the ground floor, giving way to a single ample space in which the kitchen and living room were combined. As a result, the massive staircase that connects to the second floor is highlighted, and becomes the central element of the house.

The overall bright white atmosphere provided by the white painted walls, floor and ceiling, ties the room together and amplifies the space visually.
There is also a 100-year old wine cellar underneath the house, kept in its original state, accessed through a glass door on the floor in the centre of the living room.
